Presenting a mystical journey among sugar plum fairies and candy coated compositions featuring a melodic mix of IDM, downtempo, ambient, and drone. The percussive core of Inside Candy Land contains classic loops from the Roland CompuRhythm CR-78, most of which have been mangled with subtle effects, and then layered with a variety of other sampled drum frosting.

The journey along the classic board game can be a capricious affair, and likewise the tracks of this album offer different sonic paths to take yet stem from the same confectionary castle. Minimal drum loops, brooding bass lines, distressed pads and powdered sugar sifted lead synths have been scored to satisfy any king or queen desirous of decadent delights.

Though this album is rather unique for Downscope, looking back on the recent catalog one may detect a blend of earlier releases that may have influenced this work. Be sure to also visit:
