Dark whispers from claustrophobic catacombs softly cry out, swirling through the cold and lifeless tunnels dug by humans thousands of years ago. Are the voices welcoming visitation or forewarning what lies ahead for any mortal soul?

Like the restrained voices from the dead the primary elements that make up “Immurement” are buried deep in muddy, distorted filters and entombed behind walls of compression. The dusty grains of sound that manage to surface reverberate along the cavernous depths though occasionally stomped by footprinted kicks from above ground.

Though heavily treated, the cover photo was taken from deep within catacombs of Egypt by Jane Eyre.
