"Utopian Nightmares" is the second part of the Utopian series about the human quest for a better life through technological advancement. This soundtrack documents the era of the machines. Humans are no longer productive nor relevant. A war begins among the ranks of digital servers and their respective version updates. The self-aware artificial intelligent beings seek for their own level of perfection, falling short without the guidance of their progenitor aid. The story is told via analog synth modules, effects pedals, drum machines, shortwave radio equipment and recorded on analog tape. The muted rhythms and distorted beats convey the powered pulse of the machines as they battle for their own sanity. Unbeknownst to them, the remaining humans are plotting their own plan...
