"Adrift" has been an on going project all winter long. Each time I revisited the recordings the output was a completely different mix of which I could never decide on. Pressured by Spring knocking at my door I've managed to finally release this work in its completed form, mixed to my utmost satisfaction and keeping the cold vibe strong.
Heavily processed field recordings create ambient backgrounds for slow, semi-melodic synth loops backed by muted and distressed percussive elements in this single journey consisting of five movements. Non-streamed playback offers a seamless flow between tracks.
