This is the second release of a multi-volume exploration of a genre I call minimal echo. Though the literal phrase itself suggests the absence of echo the opposite is actually true. Deeply saturated with delay effects, minimal echo accentuates the space between sounds and the successive aftermath of the reverberated echoes and delays that follow. Sleeping Ions was created with analog monophonic synthesizers, sequencers and various effect pedals and effects processors.
