This unique concept album began as a LoFi, organic and muted work somewhat similar to earlier releases of mine like Mutes, Floorboards on the Ceiling or even Inside Candyland. Distressed and overly saturated synthesizer chords, filtered minimal groove drum loops and brooding melodic basslines. However just after a few tracks were scored I felt inspired to rework the tracks, stripping them down to the raw core. I began to remove elements of melody in favor of bleak, droning pads and atmospheres. The end result was some great, lengthy minimal / dub techno tracks.

Rather than discarding the initial cuts I decided to release them all together to share the entire toolbox with all of you. Despite the differences in approach they still sit together rather well in this farm themed album which spawned from a quick snapshot I took from my car passing by a field.
